Sometimes life sucks.
All the little things get together and have an raucous little party in your life.
Homework piles up, deadlines wait a few hours away, sleep deprivation is eminent, sore muscles complain and head aches, and then the computer plays an awful irreversible joke of losing half a document due in 15 minutes.
That's when life sucks and screaming is the only thing that feels beneficial.
Then know-it-all smirks and comments rub it in and tears threaten to make an appearance.
When life sucks and I don't know what to say to make it better I ask God to let me be a blessing and not just empty words.
Instead of empty words I offer a heart full of love and a plate full of cookies.
With extra chocolate chips.
Because when life sucks, God doesn't, and He puts in extra chocolate chips because He loves you and knows you.
